To extend its mission, St. Tammany Health System (STHS), will be constructing a new Family Practice Clinic in Covington, Louisiana. In addition to the physicians and nurse practitioners practicing in the clinic, it contains spaces necessary for the new Graduate Medical Education (GME) program. The purpose of the project is to provide family healthcare to a growing area of the parish and to provide instructional training to medical residents in the general practice/family medicine fields of healthcare.
